I'm the most ordinary face in a vast sea of people, like an inconspicuous grain of sand in the desert, or a dim star in the Milky Way. My life has no earth-shattering events or dramatic twists and turns. Every day, I repeat the same routine: going to work, coming home, eating, and resting. Like countless others, I move slowly along the well-worn track of an ordinary life.
But being ordinary is no excuse for mediocrity. I know that an ordinary life is the norm, the backdrop to most people's lives, while mediocrity means giving up on yourself and surrendering to life's demands. I refuse to drift with the current of time, and I won't let the daily repetition wear away my passion for life or my pursuit of dreams.
