A Coroner's Report from a Thousand Years Away

Below is the full outline synopsis for the suspenseful romance and transmigration novel “The Autopsy Report Across a Thousand Years.” It blends intersecting timelines, solving crimes through autopsies, and a bittersweet romance, with three central draws: dual investigations in ancient and modern times, mysteries of identity, and salvation across time.

Story Background

While performing an autopsy on a thousand-year-old corpse, modern forensic pathologist Shen Zhao is caught in an explosion in the laboratory and unexpectedly transmigrates to Yongping County in the fictional Great Liang dynasty. She wakes up in the body of Shen Qing, a female coroner accused of falsifying autopsies. She discovers that her modern autopsy notes have turned into a yellowed “ancient autopsy report,” and that the fingerprints and medicinal formulas on it exactly match research data from a modern genetic laboratory. It turns out her transmigration was no accident: she has been drawn into a genetic conspiracy spanning a thousand years.
