Qi Fu: Owner of a renowned art studio
Ming Yu: Owner and designer at a renowned game company
Ming Yu's company hired Qi Fu to create seven paintings to serve as scripts for a game. Using the seven paintings, Ming Yu designed a game with seven miniature worlds. He also created a System, which he entered himself to experience the game, and dragged Qi Fu in with him. They had to complete the missions together to return to the real world, but Qi Fu's memories would be erased whenever he got out. And so, this happened:
One day, Qi Fu went to the "FY" game company to discuss a collaboration and met Ming Yu. "Have we met before?" Qi Fu asked, looking at Ming Yu. But Ming Yu avoided his gaze. "Maybe," he said.
A few days later, Ming Yu held a peony and told Qi Fu, "I think we're made for each other." "Are we? Have I met you before?" Qi Fu said, then turned and walked away without hesitation. Ming Yu hurriedly grabbed him. "I was wrong, I was wrong!" "Oh," Qi Fu replied coolly, though he was holding the peony.
Author's note: Ming Yu is actually following the unrequited-love route.
