When insomnia meets an angel, can a hundred thousand yuan buy you a golden finger?
Han Jing was on the verge of a breakdown after being tormented by late-night construction at the site next door. Unable to take it anymore, she snuck into the construction site in the middle of the night, only to run into a strange little blonde girl who called herself an "angel" and promised to give her a cheat.
Han Jing couldn't resist the promise of a golden finger. She was sweet-talked into signing a contract, only to discover that the golden finger had gone and spent her only hundred thousand yuan in savings on a ridiculously expensive gaming pod, which would let her enter the viral brain-computer game The Other World.
Her hard-earned money vanished in an instant, leaving Han Jing no choice but to dive into The Other World in tears. Her goal was simple and direct: earn back her hundred thousand yuan in the game!
But the game's realism and terror far surpassed anything she had imagined. Can she survive in this bizarre game world, full of peril and governed by unknown rules, and carry out her "hard-earned money recovery plan"? An otherworldly adventure packed with scares, snark, and unexpected "surprises" has only just begun.
