When Ruan Yuege, the second daughter of the Ruan family, was born, a master said she was destined to be a cursed, ill-fated loner. But Ruan Yuege, an ancient Daoist sect leader, transmigrated into the body of this girl with an unusual fate after failing to ascend. To overturn the claim that she was destined for misfortune, she starts acting like a scheming sweetheart, pretending to pray for her parents’ blessings and more. Ruan Qingge, her older sister, is the heroine of the book, adored by everyone. But unlike her depiction in the story as pure and harmless, Ruan Qingge is constantly plotting against her younger sister. After Ruan Yuege transmigrates into her body, she gives her sister a taste of her own medicine, one scheme at a time. Ruan Qingge even abandons the book’s designated male lead, Lu Yichen, to steal Ruan Yuege’s fiancé, Zhao Ziluo. Watch Ruan Yuege take down the entire cast of supposed leads and become the one and only protagonist.
