System vs. Host + 1v1 + mutual salvation + past and present lives
Fang Xiyue has a malignant brain tumor and only six months left to live.
The System came to her for the first time.
System: “Would you be willing to complete missions in exchange for a chance to extend your life?”
Fang Xiyue: “I don’t want to.”
Back then, she thought death would be a kind of relief.
Fang Xiyue’s dog was critically injured by a villain while trying to save her.
The System came to her again.
Fang Xiyue: “Save my dog!”
System: “You don’t want to save your own life, but you want to save your dog’s?”
Fang Xiyue: “If you can save my dog, I’ll do the missions!”
And so, she was bound to the “Save My Dog’s Life” System.
To complete her missions, she and her dog set off on a journey across the land.
Later, she realized there was something strange about this System...
Its voice was rather nice, its tone a little doting, and its missions were wildly unpredictable.
At some point, a journey for one person and one dog turned into a journey for three people and one dog.
The humans were happy, but the dog wasn’t...
On a distant snowy mountain in the north
A man dressed in green gently curled his lips into a smile. “We’ll be seeing each other soon...”
