The Little Flower Who Played It Safe Became an Immortal, and the Monkey King Was Smitten

[Romance, Gradual Growth and Strength, Two Powerful Leads, Feel-Good Revenge, Bickering Couple, Orphans, System, Parody, Laugh-Out-Loud Comedy]

When a flower opens its eyes in the morning mist of Flower-Fruit Mountain, it is no longer a little weed for anyone to trample. It is a modern soul wielding an Infinite Devouring System and carrying a synthesis golden finger. The wheels of fate begin to turn at her touch.

Hua Mo, a modern girl who died suddenly after staying up all night reading novels, transmigrates into the prehistoric world as its most vulnerable being. She knows that here, the weak are prey to the strong, and life and death can turn on a single thought. She chooses to “lay low,” but does it cleverly and with flair, carving out a path to the pinnacle of immortality. Every devouring brings a transformation; every synthesis is a mockery of fate.

Starting out at Flower-Fruit Mountain, she stumbles into one storm after another. At an auction of magical treasures, she and Sun Wukong join forces to turn the tables on noble scions. In an ancient ruin, they battle all comers and seal an ancient fiend. When faced with Buddhist schemes, she lays out a wondrous formation in a desperate situation, helping Brother Monkey strike back against his pursuers. From mutual disdain to fighting side by side, from bickering to risking their lives for each other, they share a journey full of laughter and tears, blending hilarious comedy with fiery action.

But just as the chains of fate finally begin to loosen, Sun Wukong suddenly loses control and turns his staff on his former companion. Hua Mo does not back down. She uses a synthesized spiritual treasure to calm his mind and her faith to awaken his defiant soul.

If fate has already been written, who can truly escape it? When the chance to defy heaven and change one’s destiny appears, how should a person choose?
