After Adopting an Adorable Catgirl Mage, I Get a Cheat at Every Turn

Keywords: lighthearted, sweet, magic’s resurgence

[At ten tonight, a wounded, starving, adorable kitten will pass by your front door.]

College student Xu Chen is enjoying his summer vacation when this message suddenly appears before his eyes.

He opens the door and sees…

It really is a kitten, except she’s a magical catgirl!

After taking in the magical catgirl, Xu Chen’s life is turned upside down.

A torrential downpour that nearly floods the world, magic’s resurgence, and powerful monsters appearing all over Blue Star…

[There’s a tiny hole on the left butt cheek of this Frost Great Eagle plushie. Inject some fire and you can subdue it with ease.]

Xu Chen: ??? (staring at the enormous ice-blue eagle whose wings blot out the sky) You call this a plushie?

But when Xu Chen follows the System’s advice and casts a fire spell, the eagle lets out a muffled groan and plummets from the heavens, dropping countless precious spoils…

[This beautiful long-eared blonde likes sweets. Giving her dessert might bring you an unexpected reward.]

Xu Chen: Isn’t that an elf? And she’s wearing a crown. She must be some kind of elf queen. (He offers her a slice of durian mille crepe cake.)

The elf queen is so pleased that she grants Xu Chen an entire personal guard of elf girls, along with forbidden magic powerful enough to level a city.

…

With the help of his wonderfully bizarre intel System, Xu Chen coasts his way to success.

He also wins the favor of a tsundere catgirl, a sweet, white-haired dragon girl, and a gentle elf princess.

Xu Chen: I’m only a tiny bit ahead of everyone else.
