The Haunted Town of Lushan: My Guardian Bloodline Awakens

Lin Xi, a cultural relic restorer from Beizhen, accidentally touches a mysterious stone stele on Mount Lushan and awakens the bloodline of the “Mountain Guardian,” dormant for a thousand years. He is dragged into a covert battle over the survival of China’s dragon veins. Mount Yiwulü, the northern guardian mountain, protects the balance of the earth’s ley lines, but its Mountain Guardian Seal has become the target of a mysterious group called the Shadow Alliance. As resurgent nightmare miasma corrupts the mountain spirits, the Dragon-Locking Well trembles, blood seems to weep from the inscriptions on ancient temple steles, and disaster quietly spreads.

Gifted with the ability to communicate with mountain spirits and control the ley lines, Lin Xi ventures deep into Mount Lushan’s hidden realms under the guidance of a reclusive elder. He deciphers Yu the Great’s secret message among the steles at Beizhen Temple and purifies the nightmare miasma in the Buddhist light of Qingyan Temple. He braves the Dragon-Locking Well to repair an ancient seal, then recovers fragments of the Mountain Guardian Seal from the ruins of Wanghaitang, a Liao Dynasty structure. When the Shadow Alliance’s leader uses the temple fair to detonate the heart of the ley line, Lin Xi draws upon his bloodline, awakens five spiritual treasures, and takes command of the power of mountains and rivers, holding a heaven-shaking Mountain Guardian ritual at the thousand-year-old Beizhen Temple.

This decisive battle, blending royal sacrificial rites with shamanic rituals, reveals the true purpose behind Mount Yiwulü’s guardianship, stretching from Emperor Shun’s enfeoffment ceremony and Yu the Great’s sealing of the dragons to the present day. In the end, Lin Xi carries on his mission by giving the region a new lease on life through cultural tourism. He transforms the ley-line map of the petrified forest into a digital exhibition hall, bringing the Mountain Guardian legend into the modern age. Yet the embers of stolen spiritual power still lurk in the darkness, watching Qingyan Temple and its timeless bells...
