She is the true heiress who grew up in the countryside, forced into a substitute marriage and made to be the “virtuous wife” of the Xie family’s third son.
Three years of patient endurance earn her nothing but the sight of her husband and the fake heiress lost in a passionate affair.
Everyone thinks she is madly in love with Xie Qinghe. But she turns around, coldly slaps a divorce agreement in front of the heartless man, cuts off the Xie family’s source of wealth, and tears away their hypocritical masks.
“Xie Qinghe, I threw you away like trash. If someone else wants to pick you up, let her!”
She thinks she is destined for a dull life, until she unexpectedly reunites with the all-powerful regent, the man who once protected her for half her life, only for her to misunderstand and lose him.
“Miss Song, I saved you. I ought to collect a little interest.” He draws near with a smile, dark currents swirling in his eyes.
As the scoundrel begs for forgiveness and the fake heiress flies into hysterics, she has already risen above them all, looking down on the world. “Divorced? No. I’ll make you kneel and watch me marry again in my phoenix crown and wedding robes, in all my glory!”
It looks good, and the process of writing is always unexpected and easy to deal with bad guys. Worth watching.
