Lin Xian is an S-rank Hybrid officially recognized by Cassell College, with privileges and resources to make anyone envious.
And yet his ideal life is simple: if he can lie down, he won't sit; if he can sit, he won't stand; and if he can use his brain to slack off, he'll never strain himself!
What great cause of slaying dragons? What fateful battle? Lin Xian just wants to be a quiet “energy saver” and protect this little haven that is Cassell College, with its bizarre courses (Dragon Anatomy? Spare me!), eccentric professors (Professor Guderian, your experiment has exploded again!), and ridiculous everyday antics (Student Union versus Lionheart Society, and this time the contest is eating burgers?).
Then a new super-A-rank student named Chu Zihang barges into his “retirement” life, bringing with him an icy aura that warns everyone to keep their distance.
A lazy wisecracker and a disciplined, expressionless guy: their personalities couldn't be more different. Yet one “accident” after another sparks a strange chemistry between them. An alchemical item runs wild? Lin Xian taps a finger, and “Myriad Analysis” sees through the illusion. A deadly crisis strikes? “Eternal Moment” turns the tide at the brink of life and death in just 0.1 seconds.
Beneath the peaceful campus, the shadow of the Dragon Clan has never gone away. This “atypical” S-rank, Lin Xian, is always caught at the edges of the storm. His battlefield isn't the front line. He analyzes the truth amid torrents of data, searches for a way out within the Alchemical Matrix, and, at the most critical moment, uses a brief instant that seems almost frozen in time to protect the everyday life and friends he holds dear.
This is the story of how the strongest Hybrid tries to live an ordinary? campus life in the world of the Dragon Clan using the most “energy-efficient” methods possible.
It's okay, I hope there is no heroine
The subject matter is still very novel, and the beginning is different from other dragon clan fanfics. It chooses to start from the time period when Chu Zihang entered school, which has a bit of a Japanese comic feel. Although there are only dozens of chapters, I feel that there is a lot of foreshadowing in it. Some settings are different from the original work. Is it possible that the author deliberately set them? I should probably talk about it later. So far it's still very good, I support it a lot.
Did you feel a bit depressed in the early stage? The angle is quite novel
Chu Lin is a bit delicious
It is indeed well written, but why is Senior Brother Chu now and Junior Brother Chu now?
The author writes beautifully 👍
The author writes very well [Love]
