Synopsis

The Complete Story of Yue Fei, written by Qing dynasty author Qian Cai, is a historical novel about the loyal and heroic deeds of Yue Fei, a renowned Southern Song general who fought against the Jin. Beginning during the reign of Emperor Huizong of Song, the book depicts Yue Fei joining the army as a young man and becoming a student of Zhou Tong. He later serves under Zong Ze in the campaign to defend the emperor, repeatedly defeats the Jin forces, and wins great renown. Yue Fei's loyal and courageous followers, including the "Four Great Generals" and the "Eight Great Hammers," make their appearances one by one, each vividly portrayed. The story's best-known episodes include "Yue Fei's Mother Tattooing His Back," "The Great Defeat of Jin Wushu," "Yue Fei's Angry Rebuke of Han Shizhong," and "The Twelve Imperial Edicts Recalling Him." It ends with Qin Hui's false accusations and Yue Fei's unjust execution. The novel combines the struggle between loyalty and treachery, the loves and grudges of a nation, and the spirit of chivalry to create the image of a national hero, a man unmatched in loyalty and equally skilled in letters and arms. It is one of the most important works of ancient Chinese heroic fiction.

Looking for stories similar to The Merchant's Passionate Legend. Yue Lin seized the chance to draw the Yue family's spear and point it at his throat. “Pfft!” Gao Jie fell to the ground, twitched a few times, and lay still... Qin Hui turned deathly pale with fright. “Thud!” He dropped to his knees. “Young Marshal...”

Anyone Up for Reviewing and Encouraging Each Other?

Looking for stories similar to "Shushan: Slaying Demons and Monsters". Come swap reviews and follow each other! I wrote "Shushan: Slaying Demons and Monsters". I'm a new writer, chasing the dream of becoming a novelist I had when I was young. Back then, I was naive enough to write 300,000 words, but sadly, I never made a name for myself. Now
