Lin Xun, a top student in Feng Shui in the Department of Archeology, was taken to the depths of Yanshan Mountain on the outskirts of Beijing by his tutor Professor Yao Pei'an in the name of "protecting forgotten history" due to changes in his ancestral "Dragon Hunting Plate", to participate in an unofficial "academic investigation" of the imperial tombs of the Liao Dynasty.
