A Crush Can’t Make Up for a Debt

[Youthful Campus Life + Sweet Romance + A Touch of Ensemble Cast] [The blurb will be revised later!] Gu Jinchen first saw Xu Yuan in a hospital. The girl stood bewildered in the noisy, crowded corridor, holding an insulated lunch box. She looked so out of place in her surroundings that Gu Jinchen gave her a second glance. Gu Jinchen saw her for the second time when the classes were reshuffled in their second year of high school. By chance, the two became the students sitting in front of and behind each other. In class, the girl always sat ramrod straight, her hair tied in a high ponytail. The third time Gu Jinchen saw Xu Yuan was in the woods outside the school’s back wall. She was skipping along, holding two sausages. Could eating sausages really make someone that happy? Much later “Why did you keep staring at me before we knew each other?” “Did I?” “Yeah! At the hospital, in class, and by the school’s back wall...” “You noticed all that?” “It’s hard not to notice when someone’s always looking at you, right?” “...” “Maybe the sign that love is about to arrive is getting curious about someone.”
