Chen Renfeng was sent by the Queen Mother of the West to the Penglai Immortal Realm, where he became an editor. The Record of Heavenly Cause and Effect, which he was in charge of, could change mortals’ lives and deaths, their karma, and the rise and fall of cities. The Queen Mother of the West arranged for a pair of immortal stones to descend to the mortal world and undergo tribulation. She livestreamed them from a white jade palace using the Mirror of Heaven and Earth, inviting three Imperial Lords of the Daoist sect and Arhats of the Buddhist sect to watch. As the six Daluo Golden Immortals watched, they discovered the origin of the Heavenly Dao, formed from mortals’ faith. Their tears crystallized into golden pills! After Chen Renfeng swallowed one, he broke through from the True Immortal realm to the Golden Immortal realm... Great Immortals, hurry up and cry. I’ll change the story... Hurry up and cry, I want a golden pill.
