Li Liang only wants to quietly finish his studies at Qingteng High School. But on his very first day, he is forced to drop the mask of an “ordinary student” and reveal his hidden Jeet Kune Do skills. With every punch and kick, he fights his way onto the “Qingteng Ladder” rankings, a brutal hierarchy ruled by violence and the survival of the fittest. Before long, the name “Lightning Hands” is on everyone’s lips.
Yet beneath the calm surface of classroom life, dark currents are flowing. Li Liang soon discovers that the so-called “Qingteng Ladder” is only the tip of the iceberg. Behind it lies a vast organization called the “Northern Alliance,” entrenched in the north of the city and reaching into multiple high schools. This is no simple contest for student supremacy, but a carefully woven drug-smuggling network that uses underage students as cover. The bloody shadow of the criminal underworld is spreading across the entire school community.
On the thorny road to exposing the truth, Zhang Hao, a computer prodigy who cannot fight but excels at hacking, becomes Li Liang’s most reliable strategist. Lin Xiaorou, a school reporter bravely investigating the truth behind her brother’s disappearance, stands by his side. Their friendship and bonds grow stronger amid the turmoil. But Yang Mengyao, a transfer student who seems pure and harmless, is like a beautiful white lotus laced with poison. Beneath her beauty lie deadly schemes, and every act of “kindness” may be a trap leading straight into the abyss.
