After an all-nighter at work, Lin Fei, an overworked mechanical engineering drone, opened his eyes to find himself the “lucky sacrifice” in front of Buggy the Clown's cannon. Armed with his encyclopedic knowledge of the One Piece plot and a quick tongue, he narrowly escaped death by getting stuck in the cannon barrel. There, he stumbled upon a mysterious black box bearing a Roger-embossed straw hat emblem, and landed a high-risk job: chief, and only, manager of the Buggy Pirates' dismembered body parts!
From then on, he was stuck with the least reliable captain in history:
► Guarding Buggy's scattered “precious parts” and dancing on a knife's edge as the red-nosed captain veers from one whim to the next;
► Making crooked use of the Chop-Chop Fruit's bizarre luck: kicking the cannon barrel to save the nose, pointing out a cockroach to avoid an assassination, and using body parts as bolts;
► Turning the “Conqueror's Haki-level luck” that Buggy himself wants nothing to do with into a trump card capable of overturning the world, through the cannon fire in Orange Town, the Paramount War broadcast, and the power struggles of the Cross Guild!
