After waking up, overworked office drone Zhao Zheng finds himself in the body of Emperor Zhao Huan of the Great Song! The good news: he is the Son of Heaven, ruler of all under Heaven. The bad news: it is the first year of the Jingkang era. The Jin army is about to invade south, six treacherous ministers dominate the court, the treasury is empty, the military is in ruins, and the dynasty faces imminent destruction!
[Ding! National Fortune Upgrade System successfully bound! Host identity detected: Emperor Zhao Huan of the Great Song. Current national fortune rank: E- (on the verge of collapse). National fortune points: 0. Main quest issued: Execute Cai Jing, the chief culprit! Quest reward: +500 national fortune points and a clue to the famed general Yue Fei!]
Zhao Zheng glanced at the System panel, then at the ministers kneeling before him, each with their own agenda. A cold glint flashed in his eyes. “Good! I’ll become the emperor who loses his country, all right! But the countries I’ll bring down are Jin and Liao! Corrupt officials? Kill them! Corruption? Stamp it out! Enemies? Crush them!”
