In his previous life, the protagonist loved keeping myna birds, despite being terrible at caring for them. Eventually, he became so twisted that he only raided nests without raising the birds, and countless chicks died at his hands. Later, he transmigrates into a myna and undergoes cycle after cycle of reincarnation. Almost every time, he dies because humans raid his nest or due to some accident. And many times, the person raiding the nest is none other than his former self. This leaves the protagonist full of regret over his past selfishness. He learns that only if a myna, himself, survives to its tenth birthday can it be reborn as a human. But then he discovers an undeniable fact: for a myna to survive in the wild and live past ten is practically impossible. So all he can do is keep taking his chances, praying that next time he won't run into someone raiding his nest, or, if he does, that the person will truly love myna birds. Cycle after cycle, death after death, each end is stranger than the last.
