Everyone in City A knows Wen Mian is a corporate spy who betrayed her boss, Yu Jinshu, for money.
But is what they saw really the whole story?
Yu Jinshu: “Once the job is done, this is yours.”
Wen Mian looked at the 500,000-yuan check in front of her, her face instantly lighting up. “You can count on me to get it done!”
Some time later.
Yu Jinshu: “Keep up the good work. Five percent of Yu Corporation's shares are yours.”
Wen Mian counted on her fingers, unable to figure out just how much money she owned by now. “Hee-hee, you got it!”
Later.
Yu Jinshu: “You did great! You can have me too, honey~”
Wen Mian: “??? I'm stunned beyond words.”
