Synopsis:
Gu Suyang, who transfers from City B, becomes Tiantian’s deskmate.
Tiantian has always been ranked first, but after he arrives, she falls to second place.
She glares at him, yet secretly keeps an eye on him. He took her top spot, after all.

With his guidance, she transforms from an arrogant princess into a sweet, kind girl.
After the high school entrance exams, the two finally agree to go hiking. He tells her, “We’ll go hiking together every winter and summer vacation.”
But he breaks his promise during the very first winter break.
Tiantian waits for him for three years and hopes for his return for three years.
He never comes during all of high school.
Does he know that she, so proud and haughty, has thought of him every day for those three years?
She thinks of his kindness, his smile, and how her heart races whenever she remembers the way he looked at her.
She also remembers how possessive he was when she got stung by a bee.
She keeps her place at the top of the class, just as always,
only so that when they meet again, he’ll see a better version of her.
But...
Tiantian thinks she has lost him for good, only to find him unexpectedly during her first long break after getting into a 211 medical university. His parents are divorced, his mother has remarried and moved far away, his father is in prison, and he has given up on himself and enrolled in a third-tier college.
During those three years apart, Gu Suyang thought of her every day too, just as she thought of him.
After they reunite,
he says, “I’m going to retake the exams. I’m going to get into your medical university.”
She says, “All right. I’ll wait for you at school, and we’ll see each other again.”
It turns out that Tiantian, who both hated him and missed him, had been secretly in love with him all along.
