[One Female Lead] [Pure Romance] [No Messy Drama] [Youth]
Chen Tong has a recent problem: he can see the thoughts floating above everyone's head.
His deskmate wants to skip class, the homeroom teacher wants to prolong his life, and even the students in the corridor have "Don't look at me" playing on loop above their heads. Carrying this all-purpose "cheat sheet" for the whole school, he thought life would be smooth sailing, until he saw the girl in the corner of Class Two.
Everyone else's thought bubbles are a dull gray. Only the one above her head is pink.
And... he can't read it?!
A boy with mind reading maxed out, defeated by a pink thought bubble he can't decipher. She lowers her head and tugs at her clothes; he counts in his mind how many times the tips of her ears turn red. She slips him candy, brings him buns, and writes him notes. Her lips say, "Don't keep coming over," but the pink bubble above her head bounces more happily than anyone else's.
A farmers' market, old alleyways, a bun shop steaming with white vapor, a little black cat named Meiqiu, and a group of people who act tough but are softhearted.
He thinks he probably can't keep pretending he hasn't noticed anymore.
"Hey, what's your name?"
It looks good. Whoever says it doesn't look good will cut it into pieces.
