In the mist and rain in the south of the Yangtze River, there is a spiritual spring forgotten by time. The nine peaks are surrounded by lotus petals, and the thousand-year-old lotus lies quietly on the blue waves, until a dewdrop falls and breaks the shell of the red gold carp egg - this is the first encounter between Yao Ling and Hong Hao.
The young man with golden rui and the young carp with red scales were originally glimmers and shadows floating between heaven and earth, but due to an unexpected contact in the dew of the spring equinox, their fates were entangled in an inextricable knot. Yao Ling always scolds Hong Xiao for being naughty, but Jin Rui can secretly conjure sugar lotus seeds; Hong Xiao's scales are weak when he gets into trouble, but when danger comes, he does not hesitate to use dragon claws to protect Yao Ling's lotus platform. Their interaction is like the water splashing from the spiritual pond, the willow cotton falling from Su Di, and the vivid imprints carved into the mountains and rivers of Jiangnan.
From the farce of sugar paintings on the broken bridge in the West Lake, to the sudden change in the wedding hall on the bank of the Qinhuai River; from the guardian of nightmares in Putuo Chaoyin, to the life and death of the dragon battle in Taihu Lake, every play has shattered the tranquility of the lake, and every side by side has lit up the lights of the world. Wherever the tail of red silk sweeps, the fragrance of lotus in Quyuan will turn into sweetness, and the silk in Nanxun will be woven into words of love; when the golden pistil of Yao Ling trembles, the ink ingot in Huizhou will write the oath of alliance, and the imperial street in Lin'an will leave footprints.
This is not a high-level legend about gods and Buddhas, but a cute legend hidden in hundreds of industries in the south of the Yangtze River and soaked in the atmosphere of fireworks. When you walk along the willow bank of Su Di, you may hear the soft sound of scales; while boating on the Qinhuai River, you may encounter the intertwining lights and shadows - those are Yao Ling and Hong Xiang, still writing their never-ending disaster of lotus and carp.
