NBA: My Genes Will Evolve

[Parallel universe, bug deposit box]

[When a storm over the Pacific collides with rays from the Milky Way, a basketball god is born to overturn the basketball world.]

In 2013, Bai Long, a 19-year-old boy from a fishing village in Donghai, fell into the sea during a typhoon and was struck by cosmic NB rays, which altered his genetic code.

This wasn't a disaster. When Bai Long stepped onto the court, he alone understood that a higher civilization was reshaping Earth's basketball through a dimensional upgrade.

“System notification: Your Achilles tendon fibers are undergoing quantum reconstruction. International-level explosive power expected in 48 hours.”

When he declared for the NBA draft, scouting reports from all 30 teams unanimously read:

“Yellow-skinned perimeter player + questionable conditioning + zero basketball IQ = high-risk investment”

Before him, the name that came to mind whenever people talked about the greatest undrafted player was Big Ben.

After him... he redefined what it meant to be the greatest undrafted player.

When he scored 61 points in his rookie season by sinking all 14 of his three-point attempts, and laid the foundation for the 190 Club, the entire NBA realized:

The physical limits of Eastern players were having their laws of physics rewritten by this undrafted player.

And Bai Long's dream was to win a medal for his country at the Olympics.
