Dragon's Roar Across the Nine Heavens: A Spear Shatters the Sky

At the outer sect of the Qinglan Sect, Qin Lie was once a dazzling genius at the seventh level of Qi Refining. Because he possessed what seemed to be an ancient bloodline, or perhaps a special constitution or Dao Mark, he was ambushed on the eve of the sect tournament by Zhao Hao, the grandson of an inner-sect elder, and his lackeys. They stole his spiritual root, shattered his dantian, and crippled his cultivation before abandoning him at the Ten Thousand Bones Cliff behind the sect to await death. In his despair, he clutched a black broken spear passed down through his family, its surface covered in cracks: Dragon Fang. Boundless hatred and resentment flared within him. As he hovered on the brink of death, the broken spear absorbed the blood from his heart and stirred a resonance with an unknown presence beneath the cliff. A faint, desolate dragon's cry rang out deep within his soul, while an incredibly faint yet unyielding mysterious Dao Mark imprinted itself upon the core of his shattered dantian.
