I Prove the Great Way to Eternal Life by Swallowed Star

On the night of the Guardian Star Festival, a sharp pain suddenly seizes the star-shaped scar on Lu Chen's left wrist, and strange shadow runes appear on his energy staff. Star clusters fall from the sky, the star cores stir, and the long-sealed Forbidden Zone of Oblivion, buried three hundred years ago, suddenly awakens. A black fog that devours everything is spreading through the cracks.

Teaming up with Star Butterfly, who can communicate with the star cores, and Xiao Lin, an expert in star-chart data, Lu Chen discovers that the Forbidden Zone's seven star cores are actually experiments created by the first generation of Guardians. The scar on his left wrist is the blood-red key that will unlock the truth.

The “Greed” star core devours metal, the “Wrath” star core breeds hatred, the “Obsession” star core is trapped by fixation... With every core they purify, another rune appears on the energy staff. The secrets of the Guardians slaughtering one another three hundred years ago, the altered purification plan, and the curse borne by the Lu family for generations all come to light.

As the “Annihilation” star core approaches, bringing ultimate darkness with it, they have 72 hours to gather both halves of the key. Using the star cores as their guide and symbiosis as their lock, they must reach the end of the Forbidden Zone of Oblivion and recreate darkness with light, carving a path to survival for the Guardian Star by devouring the shadows.

“Either become fodder for the Forbidden Zone, or chew through the darkness and prove our way. We choose the latter.”
