Starting Today, I'll Be a Monster

People saw a white figure darting through the Spirit Realm, followed by a white butterfly. That figure stirred up a storm in the real world.

They said, "It's a monster, a genuine monster."

"Yes, I'm a monster."

The Spirit Realm's chosen, a remnant of the old world, a devourer of calamities, the herald of destruction: Bai Song

He saw:

Watchers keeping vigil atop a rugged black iron tower, observing the tides of the Spirit Realm

Soldiers on the corrupted plains forming a wall with their own bodies to hold back the spread of contamination

Scholars exhausting every means to preserve human civilization

The Source of the Spirit Tide yearned to be born

The Mother of Rot endlessly brought forth offspring

The Giant of Destruction was awakening

The world was sliding toward the abyss of destruction

A monster in human form chose to save the world
