[Soul Transmigration] [Warhammer Fantasy] [Dungeons & Dragons] [Heroes of Might and Magic]
[Tomb Kings] [Lord Protagonist] [No System]
While playing a mod for Total War: Warhammer III, gamer Qin Heng unexpectedly transmigrates into the war-torn world of Warhammer Fantasy, becoming Hetanka, the “Lord of the Blazing Sun,” a Tomb King who has slept for three thousand years beneath the deserts of Nehekhara. Awakening in a tomb chamber inlaid with gold, he discovers he has inherited not only a pharaoh’s immortal body but also a Sun Pyramid on the verge of collapse. Its passageways have been sealed off by the Tomb Kings’ civil war, its elite troops are trapped in hidden chambers, and Nagash’s curse looms over him like a shadow.
Relying on his knowledge of the game’s lore, Qin Heng sets out as Hetanka. He evades the traps of the mortuary priests in a golden labyrinth and learns the truth about Nehekhara’s chaos from Seti, a Tomb Kings engineer. When faced with the countless orcs of a savage tribe, he leads his personal guard into battle and uses the power of the Sun Disk to awaken the colossal Ushabti statues. Amid sandstorms and fields of molten gold, he restores the might of the undead army.
But the shadow of the Black Pyramid is drawing closer. Nagash’s followers seek to resurrect him, while the ambitions of the other Tomb Kings burn as fiercely as the desert sun. As Hetanka’s Sun Disk illuminates the ruins of Nehekhara, this Tomb King from another world must make a choice under the brutal laws of Warhammer: will he use his knowledge of the game to become a ruler carving out his own domain, or shoulder the destiny of a pharaoh, awaken the slumbering dynasty, and restore Nehekhara’s glory amid the narrow divide between chaos and death?
This is the first time I've seen someone write about Tomb Kings, and it's pretty good.
It's okay, but this kind of subject matter is too rare 🍉
By the way, the living people in Nehekhara are extinct in the official history, right?
The subject matter is good, new author, come on!
Just let the protagonist regain his physical body and it will be fine 🍉
Classic among medieval warhammers
There is no emotional line, after all, the subject of Warhammer is even the race of Tomb Kings.
