Pokemon: The Chinese Bond Between Ash and Serena

[Original Huaxia region + ensemble cast + original worldbuilding + not a power fantasy + classic adventure + Mega Evolution + one heroine]

“When a ship from Kanto drops anchor in the Huangpu River, a cultural adventure spanning the lands of the East begins to unveil the mystery of the dragon veins that have endured for millennia. What will Serena's return bring to the journey? A new battle system and a new adventure await!”

(The author updates once a day or once every two days. This series will never be abandoned.)

The story follows the logic of the anime's plot and is written as an episodic novel. You can think of it as the eleventh generation.

P.S. Two new types, Light and Dark, have been added, and the type matchups have been redesigned to incorporate local culture and Pokemon elements. Your support is appreciated. The fusion of three types does not affect the power system! A novel's power levels are not the same as a game's. The dual-type system in games is essentially a “closed mathematical model,” while the novel's three-type design is an “open-ended narrative tool.” Their core conflict is this: games seek balance by limiting variety, while novels create tension by breaking the rules. Please don't apply the game's system directly.

I'm a Satoshi-and-Serena shipper, and the story will focus on making that dream come true, following the anime's style. More familiar characters will return later. The main theme is the transition between old and new.

The plot takes center stage, with growth and romance as supporting elements. It's suited to patient readers who enjoy discovering the details.

If readers respond well, I'll update more often. If the response is lukewarm, I'll post one chapter a day.

Chapters that incorporate more cultural elements take time to polish and may take longer to write.
