Slay the Gods: I Came from Afar, Bound for the Abyss

[Content warning: Two male leads (Gu Qi'an and Lin Qiye), canon pairing broken up, original character; don't read if that's not your thing. The protagonist isn't exactly a good person.]

His father died in an accident, and his other dad died by suicide after going mad with grief and seeking revenge. It all felt so unreal. He gathered all the power into his own hands, yet seemed to lose everything. The agony of his suicide followed him, carrying him far away. He came from afar and walked toward an unknown abyss.

Would anyone reach out and pull him back? Who knew? Whether he fell or not depended on a single thought.

His father had given him the name Qi'an and passed down his surname. He had accepted this child from the very beginning, so how could he bear to watch him kill himself because of him and his dad?

The lone wolf who fought by himself finally found a safe harbor. The place where he feels at peace is where he belongs.

In truth, even the so-called abyss can lead to a future stretching a thousand miles ahead.
