Ruan Simian never expected to attend a high school classmate’s wedding by a twist of fate and run into her ex-boyfriend, Shen Shibiao.
Then, the second time they meet, Ruan Simian wakes up after a drunken night with her whole body aching, only to find Shen Shibiao lying beside her, just as naked as she is.
The third time they meet:
“Do you need me to remind you that we’ve already broken up?” Ruan Simian is trapped between him and the wall.
“Sisi, you slept with me and still don’t plan to take responsibility?”
By their fourth meeting, they’ve gotten married.
Just as Shen Shibiao thinks he and Ruan Simian can live happily ever after, she disappears again, leaving behind a divorce agreement.
Ruan Simian had planned to leave with nothing, but instead he accuses her of owing him a huge sum of money and refuses to divorce her until she pays him back. She can’t take it anymore and shows up again.
“Shen Shibiao, what do I owe you?!”
Shen Shibiao holds her close. “Ruan Simian, you took my heart.”
Come on! A lot of practice. I still lack the ambiguous pull (sexual tension) between the protagonists.
