The Fool and the White Wolf

The fool was born foolish. He had no parents as a child, no one to look after him, and barely enough to eat. He wandered around all day, lonely and helpless, drifting through the village and the mountains. Only the seven widows in the village took pity on him and helped him, giving him clothes or food. They did so simply out of compassion. One day, while wandering in the mountains, the fool came across a white wolf he had saved as a child. Grateful to him, the wolf led him to eat a century-old ginseng fruit. The fool's mind awakened, and his body transformed, making him as strong as an ox. Thus began his love-hate entanglements with the seven widows, as well as his battle of wits and strength against the village bullies who tormented them. Meanwhile, he and the white wolf started a mountain-goods business deep in the hills, gathering rare wild products and discovering an ancient tomb with the wolf. They took everything inside and made a fortune, soon becoming the richest people far and wide. From then on, he, the white wolf, and the seven widows retired deep into the mountains and lived a carefree, happy life.
