Featuring fifty-two couples, each with their own distinct personalities and appearances. The focus is on frail girlfriends and devoted, healing partners.
Mutual salvation | Sweet romance and healing | Physical suffering, but no heartbreak
01. “Don’t Hide It from Me Again” Xu Wu × Wen Zhiqiu
A seemingly sunny but truly depressed stray-cat beastfolk × a gentle, clingy homebody office worker
~
Xu Wu always crouches outside the convenience store on rainy days, hoping someone will take her home.
No one knows how many wounds she hides beneath her fur, and no one cares.
Until Wen Zhiqiu crouches down beside her beneath an umbrella and softly says, “Come home with me.”
~
“If you don’t feel well, don’t tough it out alone. It hurts me to see you like that.”
“Big sis, I’ll be good… please don’t leave me.”
02. “Come Here and Let Me Hold You” Li Yang × Shen Sui
An insecure, sensitive, loyal puppy × a kind, considerate, gentle ray of sunshine
“I’ll say it again: if you’re sick, you need treatment, and you need to let people take care of you. You’re not alone anymore, so why do you have to get through it by yourself?”
Li Yang stared blankly for a moment. The fever left her thoughts muddled, and she could only explain instinctively, “You’ll get tired. Taking care of someone who’s always sick is exhausting, just like my mom said…”
03. “Don’t Give Your Long-Suffering Wife the Cold Shoulder” Ning Zhiyu × Shi Xia
A high-achieving student, stoic and on the verge of breaking down × a softhearted ray of sunshine with a need for emotional purity
“Xiaxia, you said before… that whoever gave you this butterfly would have your love forever. Do you still mean that? I bought one for you. I got it for you… Can you keep loving me?”
“I won’t leave you behind again.”
Fifty-two couples, fifty-two seasons of life
This book is very good-looking, especially the description of the sick part. I always like it. Every CP pair written by the author is particularly beautiful. I really like the CP of Ruan Yunsheng and Cheng Ruan, but it is too short. I wish the author could have written it longer. The author is authoritative about the sick, the authoritative about pure love, the authoritative about the two heroines!!!
This is my first time to write a book review. I usually read more of JJ's sick and weak men, and I'm not used to the writing style of foreign persimmons. I accidentally clicked on it and it was really shocking... It's so good that I was blown away by it. It's so delicate. I like it very much whether it's the description of illness or the emotional description...
I'll give it 100 points directly, but why do I have so many stomachaches?
So pretty! Why is there no one watching?
