I Transmigrated to Jingyang Ridge with a Microwave

I Brought a Microwave to Jingyang Ridge

Synopsis:

Lin Xiao, an unemployed young man from the 23rd century, lives a dead-end life in his cramped rental, surviving on handouts from his mother and instant noodles. A serious malfunction in a future intelligent System mistakenly transports him, along with the meager appliances in his room (microwave, hair dryer, razor, toothbrush, ceramic cups and bowls) and furniture (wooden bed and table), to the heart of the story of Water Margin: Yanggu County during the Northern Song under Emperor Huizong.

The System needs a full three years (1,095 days) to repair itself. During that time, Lin Xiao is forced to survive in this unfamiliar and dangerous ancient world. As compensation, the System grants him a portable cubic space measuring three meters in length, width, and height, just large enough to hold him. Inside the space:

An eternal power outlet: Keeps all the appliances running.

A replica of everything in his rental room: A microwave, hair dryer, razor, electric toothbrush, ceramic cup, an 18-centimeter-wide ceramic bowl, a 1.8-meter wooden bed, and a small wooden table. None of these items can be taken out of the space.

A bizarre vending machine: It sells only instant noodles and purified water.

A blood-red countdown: It clearly displays the number of days remaining until he can return.

A cruel restriction on survival: Consuming any instant noodles or purified water in the space automatically adds one day to the countdown. One meal of noodles and water means his return is delayed by two days.

The System implants a legitimate identity for Lin Xiao as “Lin Xiao, a reclusive woodcutter” and provides him with an ordinary woodcutter's axe. He lives in a shabby grass hut in the barren mountains outside Yanggu County and begins the hard struggle to survive in ancient times.
