Fan Zhongyan was a famous politician, poet, and scholar in the Northern Song Dynasty. He enjoyed a high reputation during his lifetime and after his death: "Zhongyan was the number one figure in this dynasty." After serving as an official, he had the courage to serve and joined the military front line, effectively reforming armaments and reversing the passive situation. Promote the "Qingli New Deal" and invigorate the officialdom of the Northern Song Dynasty. He focused on discovering and cultivating talents, uniting clans and families, and made practical achievements both at the local level and at the imperial court. By restoring the main life stories of Fan Zhongyan, combined with the Northern Song Dynasty and social environment, we explore and display the rich historical connotation, humanistic sentiments and practical significance of the spirit of "worry before the world's worries, and rejoice after the world's happiness".
