The Court Deputy Walks All Over His Superior

“I didn't write this one very well at the time. The past life is pretty angsty, so read with caution.”

Two male leads, alternate universe

Beloved, sweet black-sesame-dumpling bottom (Shen Shi'an) / scheming beauty top (Xiao Ran)

The top scholar Shen Shi'an was exceptionally talented and handsome, with countless admirers, yet not one of them caught his eye.

Until, during a winter hunt, he happened to save Xiao Ran, an assistant minister at the Court of Judicial Review. Seeing that Xiao Ran had nowhere to go, he invited him to stay with him as if in a trance.

Was it kindness, or a selfish desire?

Even Shen Shi'an couldn't tell.

Xiao Ran had fallen for Shen Shi'an at first sight long ago, and saw him as the bright moon in the heavens. He had thought the moon was beyond his reach, never imagining that fate would hand him such a perfect opportunity.

Using his debt of gratitude as an excuse, he shamelessly stuck by Shen Shi'an, both openly and behind the scenes. Once he sensed that Shen Shi'an felt something special for him, Xiao Ran seized the chance to take things further.

Xiao Ran had a dream. In it, he and Shen Shi'an were in love, but a misunderstanding led Shen Shi'an to leave the capital, never to see him again.

Even more frighteningly, parts of the dream matched reality.

Xiao Ran panicked. He couldn't let history repeat itself.

When he learned Shen Shi'an liked his face, Xiao Ran made sure to parade before him every day, his eyes alluring and his smile irresistible.

When he learned Shen Shi'an liked his figure, Xiao Ran deliberately took his hand and pressed it against his abs and chest, bold and suggestive.

What should Xiao Ran do when too many people are in love with Shen Shi'an?

Xiao Ran remained calm and unruffled. “I'm not jealous. Not one bit.”

Then he turned around, wrapped in a gauzy robe, and draped himself around Shen Shi'an's neck. “I want to... kiss you.”
