What would you do if you forgot all your memories from the start?
Oh, you mean Shen Yu? Her answer is: make do.
Shen Yu wakes in a frozen wasteland, having forgotten every memory. But that's fine! She still has her jade token, with all her belongings inside! So what if she's lost her memory? She can slowly get it back.
Wait, hold on, why are they charging at her, shouting about friendship and bonds????
"No idea. Take it up with my sword!"
"What is love, the greatest thing in the world?"
"What gibberish are you spouting? I don't understand. Take it up with my sword."
"You ask what I wish for?"
"To go home."
(The protagonist is perfectly happy on her own, with no romance. This is the story of a powerful woman who forgets everything from the start and sets out to recover her memories.)
