The train on the Shanghai-Nanjing Line in the late autumn of 1939 was like a lone boat traveling in the undercurrent. The new military reunification agent Lin Pingyi, codenamed "Goshawk", disguised himself as a returning businessman and vigilantly observed everything around him. Ming Zhi, an underground intelligence agent of the Chinese Communist Party, codenamed "White Pigeon", was betrayed by a traitor and carried top-secret information about the Japanese army's Jiang defense deployment. He was pursued by military special agents and broke into Lin Qiong's box in a hurry. One is a military elite with a special mission, and the other is an underground party member who is in a desperate situation. The two opposing positions have to reach temporary cooperation in a small space.
As the train roared forward, Japanese spies, Wang Puppet Government, and military commanders came one after another. The secret fight in the dining car, the fight at the junction of the carriages, and the life and death tests made them move from mutual testing to tacit cooperation. In a confined space full of dangers, the resonance of ideals and beliefs quietly grows, but different beliefs seem to be a natural chasm between the two. When the train is about to arrive in Nanjing, the comprehensive siege by military agents forces them to face the ultimate choice - should they stick to their respective missions, or temporarily join hands for the sake of national justice? A thrilling game about intelligence, faith and emotion was played out on a speeding train.

I feel it is well written. I like anti-war novels. The characters are very detailed. I hope there will be world peace! [Blowing kiss]
