Outdoor adventure streamer Lin Ke suffers an accident during a livestream, and the world begins to rot before his eyes.
Trees reach out with asphalt tentacles, clouds split open to reveal clusters of compound eyes, and every strange apparition gnaws at his sanity.
He discovers that his only way to survive is to explain terrifying scenes using the most ridiculous scientific theories imaginable and beg his viewers for tips to keep him alive.
“Guys, this mass of flesh and gears is a mechanical symbiote from a biological lab!”
“Eyeballs in the sky? Just reflections off a drone swarm! Send rockets, and I'll get closer for a better shot!”
Just when he thinks he can scrape by with his antics, he meets Shen Jing, a silent girl curled up in a corner of a hospital as he flees in desperation.
Scales cover the skin behind her ears. Her silent words tell Lin Ke:
[No... mat... ter... what... don't... re... spond...]
Inside and outside the camera frame, two desperate souls turn the livestream into a mad gamble to save the world.
And you, watching on the other side of the screen, decide the fate of humanity with every tip.
