The Path to Immortality of Patriarch Bodhi

[First impressions of Journey to the West + the original novel’s worldbuilding + no Primordial Wilderness + no Investiture of the Gods + traditional cultivation + slow burn + exploration] How many years have passed since Journey to the West? The immortals have vanished, the gods and Buddhas are nowhere to be seen. Where did they all go? Human kingdoms are hard to find across the Four Great Continents, and the realms of great demons are nowhere to be seen. From the start, he gains a minor wind-catching spell and the Golden Rope, then embarks on a quest for immortality.
