The story takes place in a war-torn continent where two major forces stand at odds - the brutal Widheim family and the protective and weak Herxi family. The Herxi family was wiped out by Simon Crono, a mage hired by the Widhelm family. Only three teenagers survived: Qiuyuan, Yanfeng and Sue.
