[Synopsis]
After transmigrating into a book, Shen Jinchou protects the book’s two male leads as they grow up. Once they each return to their countries to become emperors and the world is at peace, she fakes her death and leaves.
Unexpectedly, the two men excavate all the Black Ice Rock, preserve her corpse, and then start a war over nothing.
So she’s dragged back under a new identity to handle the “after-sales service”: persuading Chu Heng to give the throne to Chu Jin and finding Chu Jin an empress.
With peace restored, she fakes her death and leaves again.
But Chu Heng mistakenly believes Chu Jin killed her. He raises an army on the border, fights his way back to the capital, kills Chu Jin with his own hands, digs up her grave, and clutches her corpse as he drags the world down with him.
Given another chance, Shen Jinchou plans to keep Chu Heng at arm’s length. That way, he won’t develop feelings for her, and after she leaves, he won’t go down the wrong path and bring about the world’s destruction.
But why has Chu Heng gone even crazier for her this time? And why has Chu Jin gone crazy too?
Inside the room, Chu Heng pins Shen Jinchou to the bed:
-“Sister, you smell so good. You smell even better when I kiss you.”
-“In my last life, I did everything you said and even let you and him live happily together. Do you know how long I couldn’t sleep in my last life?”
Outside, before an army of three hundred thousand, the noble and radiant Chu Jin snaps the cold blade in his palm:
-“I, Chu Jin, swear here and now that I will marry only A Chu and love only her in this life.”
-“If I break this vow, may I end up like this blade!”
