A thousand-year-old snake demon, a brooding male ghost and actor, Yuan Qingshan, × Gu Tong, a quirky ghost-buster and an actor with barely any fame
[Reincarnation + equally matched leads + male/male romance + ghost-hunting + showbiz + deadpan humor + age gap + rekindled love + coercive love in a past life]
During the variety show "Surrounded by Terror", Yuan Qingshan unwittingly caused Gu Tong to break the seal. Gu Tong knew nothing about it afterward. Later, while hunting ghosts, he learned the heartbreaking truth about his and Yuan Qingshan’s past together, hundreds of years ago.
“Can’t you hunt demons?” Yuan Qingshan asked.
“...No. I can only hunt ghosts,” Gu Tong replied.
“Why?” Yuan Qingshan asked, puzzled.
“Because after the founding of the country, spirits aren’t allowed to cultivate into demons. There aren’t any demons anymore, so I only need to hunt ghosts...” The more Gu Tong said, the more he regretted it. If only he’d known, he would’ve asked his master to teach him how to hunt demons. Who could have guessed there’d be a thousand-year-old snake demon right beside him? And one with designs on him, at that!!!
