Lin Zhou, an unremarkable young city dweller, is struck by a fragment of a meteorite from beyond the heavens in an accident, awakening the “Myriad Things Enlightenment System.”
This System is unbelievably powerful. It not only lets him see the true nature of all things, but also allows him to spend “spirit essence” to enlighten any inanimate object in the world, granting it intelligence and special abilities, and even transforming it into a human!
A potted plant on the verge of withering becomes a beautiful flower fairy after being enlightened, able to control plant growth and cultivate spirit herbs;
An abandoned keyboard becomes a king of hackers, with torrents of data at its fingertips;
An ancient, rusted sword awakens its sword spirit, unleashing sword energy across thirty thousand miles...
From then on, Lin Zhou's life changes dramatically.
He repairs ancient magical artifacts and grants them sentience; saves dying spirit beasts and makes them his own; enlightens mountains, rivers, and ley lines, taking control of the fortune of an entire region.
While others are still struggling through cultivation, Lin Zhou is already quietly changing the balance of the world with his “army of all things.”
Yet the System's origins are far from simple. As the things he enlightens grow ever more powerful, an ancient secret spanning the Myriad Worlds gradually comes to light...
