Charles IX: a Night Parade in Kyoto

There is an unsettling eerieness in the air in Kyoto. The DODO adventure team came for the summer vacation, but encountered a "surprise" that was far beyond imagination - the legendary "Hundred Ghosts Night Parade" unexpectedly arrived early and completely out of control! Old umbrellas bounce around in the alleys, broken teapots chase pedestrians, dolls in the windows show weird smiles, kappa steal mobile phones, faceless women wander around the intersection... The entire ancient capital falls into a bizarre, ridiculous but hidden dangerous chaos. An ancient pottery fragment in his hand that can "connect two worlds" becomes a key clue to solving the mystery. In order to avoid the pursuit of a chattering floating abacus spirit, the adventure team accidentally broke into the "hidden world" that overlapped with the real world-the kingdom of monsters. Here, they met a little Zashiki Warashi who was lost. It told the adventure team that the core of the "ancient artifact" that maintained the balance between the two worlds was damaged, causing the "principle of monsters" to collapse. Not only did the world suffer, but the monsters were also miserable. In order to quell this unprecedented "Hundred Ghosts Mutation" and save Kyoto, the DODO adventure team must go deep into the hidden world full of dangers. They need to travel through the maze of the old house guarded by Naruya, solve puzzles from the eccentric Umizato, and avoid the attacks of the violent bull demons. They must also use the knowledge in "Japanese Yokai Kaitan and Hyakuki Night Walk" and follow the ancient "yokai principles": use salt to drive away evil spirits, use melons to bait kappas, and sincerely appease the fusangshin. In the end, they will face the guardian who went berserk in pain due to the damage to his core in the ancient ruins shrouded by the giant demon willow.
