The Dragon Merfolk Chronicles: Tales of the Heavenly Lord and Demon Venerable

[Grand Vision + Family Bonds] Their fantasy immortal heroes destroy the heavens and earth for love. Not me. I'm going to destroy love for the sake of heaven and earth!

Tens of millions of years ago, primordial miasma rose from the seabed, afflicting all things beneath heaven. Ninety-nine thousand six hundred battles tore the primordial world into countless fragments. When gods, demons, monsters, and ghosts perished, new demon gods and ghost monsters rose in their place... As the Vermilion Bird flew past the ruins of Mount Buzhou with a broken halberd in its beak, the last High God, the Sea Emperor, leader of the water veins, was falling from the clouds. His divine blood became a golden rain that extinguished the Southern Bright Li Fire and finally contained the miasma. The human race was protected by the four clans within the four cardinal barriers. They signed a pact and lived in peace and prosperity.

That is what the surviving ancient scrolls record.

No one saw the merfolk child playing with a pearl by the moonlight inside an ancient clam.
