In this sick age, corroded by hypocrisy and corruption, will you choose to be a lamb, or a butcher wielding the knife?
Yuan Kang chooses the latter, and goes further: he is the creator who makes butchers.
After watching his neighbor Mary get nailed to a wall, his resentment nearly reaches its limit, and he binds himself to the Butcher System from the abyss.
From then on, the world splits into two kinds in his eyes: useful materials and sins waiting to be slaughtered.
He transforms a dying girl into the [Thorn Madonna], her body covered in metallic briars.
He remakes a cripple consumed by hatred into the [Bone-Breaking Butcher], fused with scrap metal and burning with ghostly blue flames.
From the out-of-control embodiment of resentment, the [Grudge Harlequin], to the [Star-Corpse Engineer] who commands scrap…
His family grows stranger, and his legion grows larger.
When everyone sees him as a taboo more terrifying than the paranormal, Yuan Kang simply tells his new family:
“Don’t be afraid. We’re the Victims’ Alliance.”
I came in based on the title. To be honest, it was different from what I expected. What I wanted to see was a butcher who takes the carnage and cruelty to the extreme. He can be just or kind, which would be more interesting. But in reality, it looks more like a necromancer, but the undead he pulls up are called butchers. After all, after the transformation of the protagonist, they basically have no sense of autonomy, although they do help them get revenge. But to be honest, it's better to kill their enemies before they die and let them rest in peace, because the protagonist doesn't care what the transformed butcher thinks, because he is basically unconscious. If I were transformed and took revenge, I would feel very tired, and I would be very aggrieved if I couldn't kill according to my own ideas, and it would not be the fun of hunting, because (I/the butcher) is a hunting dog, not a hunter. And this hunter has a pack of dogs, so it's not necessarily "my" turn.
I've been chasing it for several days and now I'm done. Generally speaking, there are no problems. Whether it is the control of rhythm or the development of the overall situation, it is not bad. What is urgent now is stability and development. The base pre-selection is already in place, which depends on development and threats from external forces. There are also changes in the return of the other two missing people. Then the resource settings of the gathering place and the external debuff settings should also change to buff or normal with the arrival of the new butcher engineer. So, I will continue to read and comment on what the future holds. It seems that the author still needs some time to think about it.
