[A Ming Dynasty local + lighthearted + no System + history + hilarious + political intrigue + war]
Inside a Mongolian yurt in Helin.
Wang Baobao’s bony fingers fished a small jar of black pickled vegetables from beneath a heavy imperial jade seal. He passed the freshly pickled vegetables to Emperor Yuanzhao.
Emperor Yuanzhao sniffed them, barely holding back a cough. “Ahem… This bitter, salty taste is even more intense than the sliced fish I had in Dadu back in the day!”
Several letters urging surrender lay scattered beside the jar. They were Zhu Yuanzhang’s handiwork, contemptuously referring to Emperor Yuanzhao’s father as the “Shundi Emperor.”
Remembering the glories of the past, Emperor Yuanzhao looked at the bowl of pickled vegetables in his hands and felt a pang of sorrow.
“Back when I was in Dadu, I never had to eat such wretched fare.”
At this, Wang Baobao said, “Your Majesty, quit talking nonsense and eat while it’s hot… while the porridge is still hot. Don’t get too full of yourself!”
It's good-looking, humorous, and analyzes history in another way. Come on
It's a very good book. It combines the history of the Ming Dynasty in a funny way. However, the progress is a bit fast and the author is a bit hasty in writing. Overall, it is very good 👍
A very nice book.
