Wanted: Ryder

Reason: Stepped on the tail of the lord’s beloved golden cat

Staring at wanted posters bearing his face, plastered all over the city, Ryder fell silent.

“Mm, you… you can’t do that here…”

“I’m an honest man. Let me hide from them for a while.”

“Ryder, you pathetic little shrimp. You’re nothing but my footstool.”

“You insolent brat. Then you’re not getting dinner.”

“Waaah, you’re really not giving me any food!”

…

“Lord Ryder, are you really willing to take me in?”

Looking at the teary-eyed little beastkin girl, Ryder promised,

“Of course. I’m an expert at making sure our species continues!”

…

“Call me Mommy.”

“Heh, Teacher, one day I’ll change one word.”

…

“The noble and great elf race will never be slaves!”

“Then stop freeloading on my land!”

“From this day forward, we wood elves are no longer elves!”

Ryder: …

As he watched the number of little girls around him grow, Ryder said to them with a deadpan expression,

“I really don’t have a thing for little girls.”

“Sure, sure. You’re absolutely right!”
