He Used a Fake Marriage Certificate to Deceive Me for Three Years, So I Turned Around and Really Married His Archenemy

The day my older sister eloped for love, Fu Chengyun, the capital's most eligible bachelor and the man she was engaged to, turned around and slipped the ring onto my finger.

He spoiled me until I became the envy of everyone as Mrs. Fu. Even the most hard-to-please Madam Fu patted my hand and praised me: “Now this is what a Fu daughter-in-law should be.”

Then, three years later, my sister returned home with cancer.

Mom cried herself unconscious in front of me. “I'm begging you as your mother... Let Qinglan spend her final days with her wish fulfilled!”

My brother grabbed Fu Chengyun and pressured him. “She just wants to wear a wedding dress once. If you still consider me your brother, make her final wish come true.”

Dad issued a direct ultimatum. “If Qinglan hasn't had her wedding before she closes her eyes, you're no daughter of mine!”

In front of everyone, Fu Chengyun pulled me into his arms. “My only wife is Ranran!”

But within a month, he was forced to kneel before my sister and put the ancestral ring on her finger, going through every step of the wedding ceremony.

His eyes red, he explained, “I went through with this wedding so you wouldn't fall out with your family. You could say it's my way of seeing her off.”

I was moved by the sacrifice he made for me.

I watched them have the wedding of the century and go on a honeymoon around the world...

Then, when my pregnancy registration required verification of my spouse's identity, the nurse frowned as she looked over my marriage certificate. “This registration number doesn't exist, and the official seal is wrong...”

When I checked with the Civil Affairs Bureau, the record read: “Fu Chengyun's legal spouse: Zhao Qinglan.” That was my sister, who was supposedly close to dying.

It turned out they'd made their fake wedding real and registered their marriage.

And the marriage certificate I'd held for three years was the fake one!
